Major Kenneth Rowe's service at Arlington National Cemetery with full honors was on March 28, 2013. During WW2, Major Rowe was a B-24 Pilot with the Mighty 8th Air Force in the 491st Bomber Group. In addition to honors at Arlington for his 21-year military service, He is also a Virginia Aviation Hall Of Fame Member for his accomplishments serving the Commonwealth as a civilian pilot, and Aviation Administrator retiring as the Director for the Virginia Department of Aviation serving several Governors . His Bomber group, the 491st, is also featured at the Air & Space Museum in Hampton, VA which includes taped interviews with the Major.
